Tel Aviv - The Bauhaus City.

Engel House, architect: Rechter Zeev

Tel Aviv has the largest concentration in the world of buildings built in the "Bauhaus-Style". This style was brought to Tel Aviv in the 1930's by European graduates, escaping from the Nazi-terror.

Since 2003 the White City of Tel Aviv has the World Heritage status. There are over 1500 International Style buildings in Tel Aviv, slated for preservation/restoration. http://whc.unesco.org/en/list/1096)
