Architects per thousand People.

Are there too many architects in Europe? At least there is a lot competition within the business and most of the firms offer the same services: 'beautiful' buildings. It's getting hard to establish oneself.

See the diagram in high resolution. The design is an homage to Otto Neurath (and the graphic designer Gerd Arntz, creator of the so-called Neurath figure).

This is great - thanks for taking the time to compile it.
Where did you get the data from?

Thanks. The sources are architekturexport and DBZ-online.

Interesting the fact that there's no relationship between the amount of architects and the quality of the architectural discussion/production in the countries (i.e. greece and italy)... I'd like to know some more datas for the states, emirates and japan.

where would you find percentages of global architects per thousands?

Where is the percentage for Americans? We have to represent on here as well. How did you get the statistic? Is that based on Licensed Architects or number or architectural designers?
